Steps
Step 1 of 5
Start the setup
Open Settings → Payments. On the Stripe card, press Connect.
Step 2 of 5
Check your secret key
In Stripe, open Developers, then API keys, and copy the Secret key (it starts with sk_live_ or sk_test_). Paste it into Secret key and press Check key.
Step 3 of 5
Add the webhook in Stripe
In Stripe, open Webhooks and add an endpoint. Paste the address Biizay shows, select the event checkout.session.completed and save. This is how Stripe tells your store a payment went through.
Step 4 of 5
Paste the signing secret
In Stripe, reveal the webhook's Signing secret (it starts with whsec_), paste it into Signing secret and press Save and check.
Step 5 of 5
Confirm it's connected
When the panel says Connected, press Done. Card payments now appear at checkout. To stop offering cash, turn off Offer cash on delivery at checkout on the Cash on delivery card.
Card payments go through your own Stripe account. Biizay needs two things from Stripe: your Secret key and the Signing secret of a webhook. You do not enter a publishable key.
Cash on delivery stays on until Stripe is fully connected, so customers always have a way to pay. After that you can switch it off.
