301 redirects for an online store
When a page moves, a redirect sends visitors and search engines from the old address to the new one, so links from social posts, other sites and Google results keep working. Redirects are permanent by default.
Find and fix broken links
The 404 watcher notes each address on your shop that does not exist: which address, how often, and which other site linked to it. Scanner noise is left out, and nothing about the visitor is kept. It keeps 30 days.

Questions
How do I fix broken links on my online store?
Turn on the 404 watcher, open the list of missing addresses, and send each one to the right page. That creates a redirect.
Is a redirect permanent?
Yes, by default. A permanent redirect tells search engines the page has moved for good.
Can I redirect a whole old section?
Yes. End the old address with /* and everything under it goes to the new section.
Does a redirect replace a live page at the same address?
Yes. A redirect wins over a page at that address, so remove the redirect if you want the address back.
