Wix vs Biizay for an online store in Pakistan

A website builder that added a shop, or a shop that comes with a website. Which one fits depends on what you sell and where.

Wix is one of the best-known website builders in the world, and its drag-and-drop editor is genuinely pleasant to use. Plenty of people in Pakistan build their first site on it. When that site needs to sell, though, a few practical questions decide whether it will work: can your customers pay, can you take cash on delivery, and does it handle the counter, services or quotes your business also runs on?

Below, Wix's side is taken from its own plan and payment pages as of October 2026. Where we could not confirm a detail from Wix itself, we have left it out.

What Wix offers a store owner

Wix has a free plan and four premium plans: Light, Core, Business and Business Elite. Accepting payments and ecommerce features start at Core; the Light plan and the free plan do not list them. Wix says its prices and currency vary by location, so check the figures shown to you when you sign in.

Wix's strength is design. Its templates and editor give you a lot of freedom over how every page looks, and it is a good fit for sites where the shop is one part of a bigger brand, portfolio or content site.

Can a Wix store accept payments in Pakistan?

This is the part to check carefully. Wix publishes a page listing the payment providers available in each country. As of October 2026, its entry for Pakistan reads N/A: no online payment provider is listed. Wix also supports manual or offline payment methods, which let you record orders paid outside the site, but customers cannot pay online at checkout through a listed provider.

For the United Arab Emirates the same page lists PayPal and Stripe, so a UAE business can take card payments on a Wix store.

On Biizay, cash on delivery is built into checkout and on by default, which is how many Pakistani customers prefer to pay a store they are trying for the first time. Card payments work through your own Stripe account. Stripe is not available to businesses registered in Pakistan, so card checkout suits Biizay stores run by a business in a Stripe country, such as the UAE. Biizay does not offer JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer at checkout yet.

Wix vs Biizay: what else differs

Counter sales

Biizay includes a point of sale on every plan, Free included. It runs in a browser on the same stock and prices as the website, so a sale at the counter and an order online come off one count.

Services and quotes

Biizay has services built in, priced fixed, hourly or by quote, with customers choosing a preferred time and jobs landing in a schedule your team works from. Customers can request a quote from any product or service page, and you price it and email it from the portal. A whole store can run as a quote-only catalogue with 'Price on request' instead of prices, which suits wholesalers and equipment suppliers.

Pricing currency

Biizay's plans are priced in Pakistani rupees, US dollars and UAE dirhams. There is a permanent Free plan that asks for no card. See the plans and their limits.

Design freedom

Wix gives you more freedom on the page. Biizay gives you a page builder with theme presets, and every theme keeps commerce pages (product, category, cart) working however you style them. If pixel-level design is your priority, Wix wins this one.

When Wix is the better choice

  • Your site is mainly a brand, portfolio or content site, and selling is a small part of it.
  • You are a UAE business and want Wix's design tools with Stripe or PayPal checkout.
  • You want the widest choice of templates and full visual control.
  • You do not need cash on delivery, a counter till, bookings or quotes.

When Biizay is the better choice

  • You sell in Pakistan and need cash on delivery at checkout.
  • You also sell at a counter and want one stock count.
  • You sell services or send quotations as well as products.
  • You want to start free and pay in rupees as you grow.

Is Wix free for an online store?

Wix's free plan lets you build a site, but ecommerce and accepting payments are listed on its paid Core, Business and Business Elite plans. Biizay's Free plan includes the store, checkout with cash on delivery, the point of sale, services and quotes; plans differ in how much room you get, such as orders per month and staff accounts.

What about a UAE business?

The picture changes in the UAE. Wix lists Stripe and PayPal as payment providers there, and Stripe supports UAE businesses, so card checkout works on either platform. The choice then comes down to the rest: design freedom and a large template library on Wix, against the counter, services, quotes and shared stock built into Biizay, which also prices its plans in dirhams. If you sell at a shop counter or run a service business in Dubai, try a test sale on Biizay's point of sale before you decide.

Try both before you commit

The best test is the one your customers will take: build a product page and go through checkout as a buyer would. On Biizay you can do that in a few minutes on the Free plan. Our guide to setting up your store covers the first hour.
